HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES
An Inquiry into economics
An inquiry into:
What PYP attitudes do we want to foster?
Commitment: Students will show commitment while working on a class project to create a product. They will develop commitment in daily work and research as they “stick with it”, even when work can be challenging.
Creativity: Students will have many opportunities to show creativity as they create a new “product”, name their product and advertise.
Integrity: Students will investigate fairness in economics. They will make choices when creating a product that are “fair” and will be honest in advertising.
What LP Attributes do we want to encourage?
Knowledgeable: Students will have opportunities to gain information about economics and the marketplace. They will use this knowledge to increase their understanding of economics and make informed decisions.
Reflective: Students will think about what they have learned and done. They will reflect on the choices they made with their class product in our class business. They will plan for future economic decisions based on their reflection.
